Going sideway:bay area good school districts
1. In general,this time it will be better than 2000-2003
2. Low end houses will hit harder by subprime and foreclosure(under 600K)
3. Bread and butter houses in good school districts still sell very fast
and hold prices steadily (e.g 1.2M-1.4M in western San Jose or Cupertino
Monta Vista; 1.0M-1.2M in Fremont Mission San Jose; 1.3M-1.5M in
Palo Alto;。。。)
Those houses may be sold in just two weeks if in reasonable conditions。
4. Job loss will not be dramatic because the rotation of sectors:
Telecom,PC,Hardware,Semiconductor,Semi-Equipment;
Internet,Software and Service;
Biotech,Pharm,Medical equipment,Solar,。。。
5. The housing down turn will be slower and longer,I suspect in 3-5 years
it may be no better than now in term of price。
