Also, I was in DC 1986 for couple of years.
Back then, from Tysons Corner all the way to Dulles Airport was not developed. There was no houses and corporations in large density. The land was vastly available.
Miat and VA probably do not visit Atlanta often. I know the area intimately. Back in 1990, there was unlimited land. Now, try to buy a parcel of 5 acres. :)
A nice house in Buckhead is more than most fansy house in McLean, probably close to the house in Patomac.
Sigh, we always limited by our knowledges.
I dare not make investment suggestions for DC, because as much as I know the area, I do not know the great area well enough to lead people believe one way or the other.
