I live in one of the best school disctricts - some kids won internation gold medals.

I think the housing price will continue climbing in those districts because of my rental experience. Many people come to live there for schools.  The average applicant family makes $250K -300K/year.

The downside of living in high API disctrict is that both you and your children might experience some pressures.  Some parents really push their kids hard.  But you don't have to do the same things.  My children DO NOT go to the addtional education classes. 

The upside of living in high API disctrict is that I don't need to urge my children to study.  Their peer pressure make them try harder.  It is actually a good thing for them to know that there are a lot of smart people out there.

I have several white colleagues living in the area.  Contradictory to the conventional wisdom, they actually like to live there.  They told me that they had no intention of moving even after their children graduate.
