recommend - the tax guide for traders by robert green

the book published in 2004 is the bible book of trader tax but kind of obsolete to current tax code. of course all the basic concept still works. Also you can search "green tax" for his informative web page.

We did not set up a formal company for trading, but do claim trader's status and file the profits in schedule C. I also changed accounting method to "Mark to Market in security trading" in 2010 following the instructions/examples in the book.
