Just read Greenspan's new book. He seemed to suggest that a long term high inflation will lead to a lower capitalization of housing market. He offered no specific explanation on this. This opinion, whether it's right or wrong, is counter to conventional belief that suggests otherwise. In my understanding, an inflation would devalue the buying power, which will be reflected by higher asset price. I don't understand what Greenspan meant on this. Do you understand?
