What is the house like?
How big, on what size lot? How old? I don't have a ZipRealty account and cannot see. I lived in Sacramento for over a year. The jobs there were no where near as varied and high-paying as in SV or SF. It's scotchingly hot in summer, foggy in winter (similar for Stockton, causing major traffic accidents some times). Life is not the same there. That's why the housing market there rises only after years of stead rise in the Bay area, and drops much faster at times like this. Stockton has even less jobs and desirable qualities as a place to live. Timing becomes far more important in order to hold a house there as an investment, which I am sure so many on this board know all too well.
