Could you give me some instructions on DIY

I am not clear on how to proceed after reading the eviction process from online resources and books.

Do I go to court to file the paperwork? or can I file it online then go to the court scheduled hearing?

Typically how long does it take to kick the tenant out?  I am in CA.
