unhandy landlord question: Dryer make loud squealing noise,

Tenants said that the dryer drys fine but making loud squealing noise, maybe the belt is bad.

I don't know much about dryer.  what should I do?

1st option.  repair  should look for sears to check it out?

2nd option.  buy a new dryer to replace?
