He definitely can give you some help regarding building your own dream house. He is a landlord, realtor and PM. Furthermore he is also building his own dream house.  

If you don't want the hassle of building your own, and if I'm not wrong, I remember your 不周山亲家 should be around, why give her a call. She is always on your side anyway.
