Anyone know how to remove smoke smell from house?

All experienced landlord,

 

Offered a house currently occupied with a smoker. It has pretty strong smoke smell. I've read from internet that with different opinions on removing the smell...some said it's easy to remove and some said you might never totally remove it. If only prime with Kilz and paint wall and ceiling would remove the smoke smell, I will go for the deal...if I have to clean everything in the house and still can not remove the smoke smell, then I might be back out the deal.

 

Any suggestions or past experience from you would be appreciated!
