EPA发布的六个监控致癌物。包括甲醛。
formaldehyde is one of the only six carcinogens EPA monitors. Oxygenated hydrocarbons are major air pollutants because they are eye and throat irritants, and formaldehyde is a known carcinogen. In addition, formaldehyde and acetaldehyde are both regulated by EPA in the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990.
The other five regulated species are benzene, acetaldehyde, 1,3-butadiene, polycyclic organic matter, PM2.5.
