I did some research on the web, quite a few sites say a snake can break sewer line if it's used unskillfully.

It's a 10 year old house, I think the pipe should be PVC, could tree roots grow into PVC pipes?

If it's not tree root after digging out, can I be sure it's caused by the snake?

what is the reasonable price to fix it?
