You are lucky if most of your business started 2008.

If you suggested your customers to sell 2004-2007, or got good deals after 2008, you were most loved. Otherwise they hated you for sure. :)

Generally from realtor's view, they only need "transaction". Don't care win or loss, up or down.

Definately you are different, you are both investor and realtor :) so you are most loved!
