Isn't it great, great news?

I'm hoping for another 10%, 20% or even 50% down, down, down... so we can buy cheaper.

As long as you have secured rent/lease, enough cash reserve and positive cashflow, market going down is great news.

Unfortunately, the reality is quite the opposite  -- for the markets I'm monitoring, prices are going up for real.

The old saying, the numbers in news are for dummies - they are badly lagged.
