I used the word "achieve" because it is hard to do that. One does not have to do anything but DCA should do much much better than that.

The problem of "investing" in stock market is that most of the people are not investing but gambling therefore it is possible that you gain nothing or lose everthing EVEN if the market is actually doing well.
