Once in a while, my friend worries about the egg price.  When I first heard it 10 years ago, I bought 120 eggs.  But the egg price didn't go up.  Now, when I hear him say the egg price will go up, I just ignore it.

 

This is an example of how to use historical data to make sound judgement.  Hope this helps.
