Why are people saying "Home Ownership?" If you have payments for 30 years, do you REALLY own it? Until its paid in full and you have the title in your hands, your just renting it from the bank with a promise to get to keep it if you make your payments for 30 years. I wonder what percentage of Americans have their homes free and clear today? I would guess its really low.
