more Question: My box 13 not checked. Can I choose: not covered

my org. provide EEs retirment plan fund, but has limited service yrs. I just worked one yr, Vested me a little. In addition, I didn't contribute from my salary.(HR didn't prvide those deduction).

Therefore, I want to choose, not covered, and Then my Traditional IRA $5000, can all deduct to help me to save $1000 tax.

 

One more question: Form 1040. AGI is line 37.

Which line is MAGI?

When you Calculate AGI,do you take away line 32 IRA deduction or not first?
