I agree dicipline is important, but it does not mean

you have to be gold bug to have dicipline. I agree printing too much paper money or making too much promise on benefits in good times is irresponsible, but this has nothing to do with goldbug. I just do not like people thinking that we should go back to gold based currency system, that is too naive, or not pratical.
