two problems of GLD

Not saying it is not a good ride, I do like GLD.

However, there are two problems:

1. Counter party risk. I am also not sure if they own enough physicals to cover the ETF.

2. If you own it outside tax deferred account, you pay 28% tax on gains when you sell regardless how long you hold it.
