求助: 情况复杂, 如何驱逐(evict)房客?
I rented my apartment to two brothers with one-year lease signed. Months later, one tenant's wife and 1.5 years old son joined and lived in the apartment.
Last month his wife called police because she was abused by her hu*****and. So the police kicked off the two brothers out of the apartment. The local trial court ordered that the tenant can't go back to the apartment and set a hearing date which was two weeks ago but my tenant didn't show up, so the court time extended to a day in September.
My tenants stopped paying rent and said that they would move back and pay rent if I move his wife out. I came to the apartment and asked his wife to move because she is not on the lease and illegally lives there. But his wife was so rude (that might be why his hu*****and abused her) and refused to move out.
I began eviction process. Based on Landlord-tenant law in Massachusetts, landlord has to deliver a 14 day Notice to Quit, which I did by certified mail and the tenant (hu*****and) picked it up at local post office. My next step is to go to local House Court to file eviction.
Following are my questions:
1. Should I add my tenant's wife's name in eviction form? She is not on the lease but is the only person living in the apartment now.
2. What can I do if the court can't delivery the eviction notice to the tenants as nobody knows where my tenants moved to?

3. How to handle with the tenant's possession such as furniture if the tenants fail to show up on the day of eviction execution?
