i don't think comparing Japan with US is a valid comparison. the two countries are different, and the two economies are so different.

I don't see the comparing of interest rate with inflation is convincing enough. I don't think there are related very well. i can draw different circles in your chart and come up with a different conclusions.

I don't think 1929 depression is a valid argument. the world environment is so different than 1929.
