Does your original offer have a short sale / REO Addendum?
Please read that page one more time. It shall spell out: bank can continue to market the property. This means you are still not officially binding. Bank can kick you off one day before the closing. You waived the right to sue the bank and listing agent in the Addendum. You have to take the consequence / result yourself. Like the cost for the loan, inspection etc. and your labor and energy to enter the contract. Basically, within 10 short sale / REO cases, only 2~3 finally go through.
