Fanne May used to allow 10 per SS#, so, there is 20. and by the time I got to 20, the bank already know me well, small local banks kept porfolio loans and not resell them, they can go beyond the limit.

they can also do blanket loans across multiple properties, which actually are commercial loans, rates are higher.

I also have few under seller financing.
