Note：

1）Quant 分为 Quant Trader，Quant Researcher，Quant Developer，后者收入比前两个低一些。

 

2）Prop Shops 靠market making 挣钱，Quant Traders 是这类公司的 bread earners。

Quant hedge funds 用 algorithm 投资股票挣钱，Quant Researchers 是这类公司的 bread earners。

 

3）Quant 的 Base Salary 二十多万的样子。

第一年

Base salary + yearly bonus (base salary的100%上下）+ sign-on bonus ($50K-$200K) + relocation bonus 

还有其它的benefits：401K，free meals，free medical premium，home office 就不在这里说了。

 

第二年会怎么样？

Base Salary 变化不大

Yearly Bonus 应该至少Base Salary的100%.

1) 多数Quant第二年的yearly bonus 会超过第一年的yearly bonus + sign-on bonus + relocation bonus，也就是说第二年package大于第一年package

2) 有些Quant第二年的yearly bonus 会低于第一年的yearly bonus + sign-on bonus + relocation bonus，也就是说第二年package小于第一年package。
