In 2025, the Medicare Part B premium is expected to increase, with some estimates suggesting that the standard premium will be $185 per month. However, the amount a person pays will depend on their income and filing status, and is calculated using their tax returns from two years prior. The income-related monthly adjustment amount (IRMAA) brackets for 2025 are: 

• Single 

  $131,000–$163,000: $369.90, $163,000–$196,000: $480.80, $196,000–$500,000: $591.90, > $500,000: $628.90 
• Couple MAGI 

  $262,000–$326,000: $369.90, $326,000–$392,000: $480.80, $392,000–$750,000: $591.90, > $750,000: $628.90 

   

再者Medicare advantage 是等于加了second/complementary insurance, 自付费会减少很多。公司资助的advantage plan 看公司出多少，公司出的越多，病人自己出的越少。我们公司根据工龄，退休后最多一年资助$2万，基本用不完。基本上我们的退休员工看病不付钱，连挂号费，急诊 urgent care, 急救都不付一分钱的, 与还在上班的人一样。一年out of pocket 最多$500。
