could you refuse check?
The court is only doing what they're supposed to do. In this case, they have to forward the check to you.
Whether accept it is your business. If you don't want the check, therefore don't want to keep the tenant, just refuse the check once you get it. If you don't even get it before court day, don't worry. Just show the court the evidence that the tenant has been late, even gave you checks that bounced. I personally think this should be enough.
