However, I still prefer QQQ because XLK is too heavily weighted on top 2 stocks (count for almost half of the portfolio).

 

VGT is similar. Top 3 count for about 50%.
 

As a result, XLK/VGT is more volatile. But in a bigger picture, the difference among them is small
