In my family’s case, we have our own house to live

in (that’s our exposure in RE), and we have investments in various mutual funds and stocks, and we’ve been putting some money in Chinese currency. Since the RE market of mid west has not performed as well as in LA, I believe that we have a better chance getting better return by putting majority of our money in stock market.
