Questions for MrsKwon - tenants who are late on rent...
In one of your posts, you mentioned how you deal with tenants who are late on rent. You said that you charge $15 eviction fee in your 2nd letter... Does your 2nd letter serve as eviction notice? What are you going to do if they still don't pay rent (after your 2nd letter and eviction notice)? Do you start the eviction process right away? I heard that eviction needs to go through lawyer, takes a long time and costs $$$.
I just rent my house out for two months, but tenants have been late on rent both times. Now they say that they just lost job ...What should I do?
