请教各位，车库地面有漏水

房客发现出租房车库地面有漏水。我们同意 plumber在车库房顶开了洞。结果他说还需要再在房间里再开洞。这比较麻烦。房间墙上有wood panel. 下面是他写的：

Cut sheet rock in the ceiling and did not see any moister. The leak in in the corner wall where sewer stack drops. Can not cut wall from garage due to sheer wall. will need to access from the interior living room area but there are 4’ wood paneling on the wall that needs to get removed.

 

请问 1. 有没有什麽修理方法不用在房间里打洞？2. 一般情况下，修理费用大概范围？3. 要不要报保险公司？先谢谢了！
