Please see three kind of notice for NH,
(1) 7 day pay rent or quit, not applicable. 

(2) 30 day notice to Quit:  this would be used if you want him to cure the violation.  Now the plants are gone, so no ground for 30 day notice. 

(3) 7 day unconditional quit notice.  Even police said this is a minor issue, so this doesn't apply.
