Say, if your house worths $300K, agent A says she can sell for $350K, then ignore her. Agent B says it worths $250K, then same. Hire the one who tells you the market value closest to the one sold recently in your neighborhood.

Then ask him if he is going to have open house for you, where else he is going to advertise except the MLS, if he knows anything about staging and curb appeal? His connections with the buyer agents?

After interview, do you feel comfortable with him? Is he too agressive? or is he too passive?

Then you will know who you are going to hire.
