SHY is safe

SHY is very safe and liquid. Dividend going forward will be about 1.5-2%. But the share price fluctuates daily. I think the total return including dividend can be between 0 to 3.5% depending on the economy and fed policy. If you have a large sum of cash above the FDIC insured limit (250K), SHY is a good place to park the money. You get the dividend once a month. In case of deflation, you may even get a capital gain.
