我今天比较闲，看了看官方的 AB-1482 Tenancy。觉得：有些人的理解太偏差了，或者被以讹传讹了。

前几天读到xxx及yyy的帖子，其中说，一个人，到您房子里来住两个周，比如您的AirBNB房间，您就可能赶不走他了。我将信将疑。

可是，条款完全不是这么回事。只有住满超过12个月后，才能用just cause 请租客走人。

而且，条款明确排除短期租房（Transient and tourist hotel occupancy），比如airBNB和hotel。

在原文中，我没有看到不合理的地方。我不理解，为什么有些人叫这为“恶法”。

 

原文：

This bill would, with certain exceptions, prohibit an owner owner, as defined, of residential property from terminating the lease of a tenant that has occupied the property for at least 12 months without just cause, as defined.

原文：

(e) This section shall not apply to the following types of residential real properties or residential circumstances:

(1) Transient and tourist hotel occupancy as defined in subdivision (b) of Section 1940.
