median price dropped 18.1%
Average price dropped 22.6%
Unit Sales dropped 56%
Total Listing increased 200%

Compared to a month ago,
median price dropped 14%
Average price dropped 20.9%
Unit Sales dropped 4.3%
Total Listing increased 23.8%

How do you know I am not in Palo Alto? For the years we lived here, I have met enough real estate agents who do more hand waving than any concrete research or other services for their customers, especially the Chinese agents when dealing with Chinese customers. I have also seen many cases when Chinese agents talking their customers into deals that the customers regret badly soon after. Let's face it: the real estate business is a very corrupted one---one could look this up in any investment guide.
