Yes, you are correct with using the resources from a wealthy township.  No, you need to consider your kids' feeling.  If your kids can handle his/her classmates with all the resources for both academic and athlatic, their classmates also have the latest gadgets, fancy clothes, nice cars and skiing holidays in Switzerland during the spring break or vacation home in Mexico.
