I am correct and you are correct as well.

But we are talking about two different things here.  I am talking about bond funds in 401(k) and in general.  You are talking about buying an individual date-certain bond and holding it to maturity.  We both are correct in our respective products.  But thank you, you reply just gave me another topic to talk about.  I will write something about Bond and Bond funds.
