I hold my position for long term which make it easier to pay less income tax. During the last 13 years, I paid major capital gain only once for like 700k. Most other years, by using tax loss harvesting, I paid no capital gain for stock transaction. I still pay tax on dividents and interest income, but that's unavoidable. As of today, I still have most of my capital gain not realized yet.
