This could be describing me and my wife

Just passed 55, wife does not mind working a few years more, I feel dragging my feet to work each day, the same-ness is killing me, and knowing there might be enough asset to last a few decades is killing the little motivation I have toward a high-paying job. Increasingly, little pleasure is coming from the existing job. Why, there seems to be more men than women, who could like to see change? Damn the stock market and housing bubble.
