I think you need to read "the intelligent investor"

(if you have read it before, read it again.) at least you need understand what value investing means before you lick boot of warren buffet without knowing what he stands for.

btw, I am not investor, I am just speculating all the time but at least I read and understand the concept.

I think he said lately even the stock market closes for next 2 years, he will be fine because he does not invest in stock market, he invests in companies.that might give you a hint.

actually because he was so successful in the past, it generates a positive feedback on whatever he picks, people follows his stocks and make the price higher therefore make him more god-like. it is called Reflexivity by soros.
