Don't think it is within '1.5 hrs' to NY with that price

From what you described, 1 acre, 2300 sqf, good school, new house, 380k, nowhere you will find in NJ with 1.5 hr-commute to Manhattan.

For those with 1.5 hr-commute: Edison, East Brunswick, Bridgewater, Morristown vincinity, such houses are at least 550-700k. Even for 1.45 hr-commute such as Hill*****orough, Montgomery, you won't get anything close to 380k.

Are you sure it is 1.5 hrs only, did you count the door to door time and the possibility of the traffic jam? I used to live in one of the real '1.5 hr commute' areas listed above, even with that the commute seemd to be a heavy burden to me.
