Since now you are employee and employer as well, employer need contribute equal amount of social security tax part of FICA,

Instead of 6.4%, you end up pay 12.8%, plus Medicare 2.4%. You pay about 15% in total. 

Social security is close to bankrupt now, I doubt you can get your money back 100%.
