you need income to be 2.5 to 3X the rent.   Their combined income is well above this.  So the income is perfectly fine.

On the otherhand if the income is too high, they won't stay in apartment, they will buy quickly.  This come from personal experience.

I have one unit here in Silicon Valley,  first year I bought, rent out to a engineer/physician couple.  After a year, they bought.  Next couple,

Computer Science PHD couple.  Stay for one year and bought and left.  Third couple, both software engineers, stayed three month and

broke lease and left!!!    the last Tenant is a software engineer but wife don't work.  I know they won't be able to afford silicon valley price

so hopefully this is a long term tenant.  Finally.
