饶毅，男，1962年出生于江西，北京生命科学研究所资深研究员、学术副所长，未来论坛咨询委员会委员，《知识分子》主编。北京大学理学部主任。1983年江西医学院本科毕业后考入上海第一医学院研究生。1991年获加州大学旧金山分校神经科学哲学博士。1991年进入哈佛大学生物化学和分子生物学系做博士后，研究脊椎动物神经诱导的分子机理。1994年在圣路易斯华盛顿大学解剖和神经生物学系任教并领导独立的实验室。2004年起任（美国）西北大学医学院神经科教授、（美国）西北大学神经科学研究所副所长。2007年饶毅决定回国，受聘出任北京大学讲席教授、生命科学学院院长，2013年9月卸任。2016年4月，任北京大学理学部主任。
