Marriage is the last chance you grow up: Un film très rafraîchissant et très éducatif finalement.
Grand merci pour ce partage !?

"Marriage is your last best chance to grow up." No. Marriage is for grown-ups, for the mature.
Space. Time. Another woman, "Younger"

Sins of Mrs. X | Linda Hamilton | Jacqueline Bisset | DRAMA | Full Movie in English
A journalist reluctantly profiles a Frenchwoman famous for introducing young women to potential husbands.
What did I think? I am blown away. I cannot begin to tell you how much of this should have applied to my life. I had a girlfriend; we were young, and girl is correct, who was almost the woman I have sought all of my years This movie has shown me what I never understood until now. The finishing touches from Madam Simone and I would have never looked at another woman. I did not realize how close we were until this movie. Thank you so much for this movie. It was utterly charming, I laughed, shed a tear or two and wished it would never end,
The truth is: being left in mature age is the prerequisite to uncover your true self, to experience the exquisite joy of sitting deep in the saddle of your own existence. This joie de vivre can ignite a gleaming light in your heart chakra that you may shine on who you choose and want to love. The seductive techniques are but a decoration. Mrs X seemed to know what I am talking about, whereas Madame Simone and her girls did not. Excellent movie, excellent acting. Thanks
?

Spoiler Alert! Saw this movie years ago. I've never forgotten the scene where she packs her husband's suitcase like a dutiful wife, when he is leaving her for another woman. She had lost herself in the role of "wife" and stopped being her own person. I promised that I would never do that to myself, and I never have.

This movie has two of the most enlightening phrases ever written for a film: the one about love and the risk taken to be happy. Lovely movie.

Excellent story, very interesting, not sure whether I should say this, but I am a male English, when I was in my late 30s early 40s I had a relationship with somebody, young lady, loyal, faithful trust in each other, to be able to share and things that you are passionate about,
Brother is making a meal for each other , sharing a glass of wine, ????, sharing a piece of cake together, so last I found out she was married,
Just say when the cat will go away, the mice would , when I thought I’d found somebody when I turned 50, and it was all downhill from them onwards, I now live by myself they rule France, in my quiet space.

A very fair ending. Whoever is cynical and leaves you does not deserve a second chance. Beauty is in the heart first and foremost and if it exists it is also visible outside, in all senses. Life is a joke only in the eyes of some people but in the EYES OF GOD IT IS THE MOST SACRED TEST OF TRUST OR RENUNCITATION IN HIS FAVOR. If you are not loved, do not forget that GOD LOVES YOU WHO CREATED YOU MORE THAN ANY MAN. Have faith and be happy in whatever situation you find yourself.

She was right. He used her up
and moved on. Men are emotionally immature.

And to think after 50 years of marriage and a lot of family, children, grandchildren, now I think that I was happy, but without being ME, and I'm still not me, I got married young and in love, over the years you realize the circumstances, what that entails, you eat your being to be another being, I was crazy about life without precautions, only fun, spoiled, but you adapt to the character of your love, serious, very strict in everything, so you give up, and life is what you choose, but, I know that I have sacrificed my 'self' to do what I must, and that is to make mine happy. I am still a great crazy grandmother from time to time,
This whole story looks to me quite superficial: The ridiculously matronish Madam, pretending to be superfine, super - wise, though lonely lady...These common, naive girls, who believe that after "crush" seduction course, they would be able to find a real love with rich and famous men.?. Because Madam was very famous in France, even in America, the rich men ask her to put them on the "list" knowing that she brings up gold-digger hunters after them. Isn't it funny? But, finally, this firm Lady admitted: It's not important what you wearing, but who you are inside. And this is what I was thinking about watching this movie. By the way, Linda is an amazing actress and her earthy, vulnerable - natural Joanna, which I liked, suits her better than transformed Joanna - with died three colors hair and bright red lip color.
