Go to Rome to fish for those who believe in Yahweh: the eternal destiny.
@1:05:17/1:47:36: You're the chosen one; not rather, you choose. Neither can you work toward gaining mercy and grace nor to choose, rather to be blessed as the chosen, non-believer Clavius (Joseph Fiennes), a powerful Roman Military Tribune became a Jesus follower. https://youtu.be/NaLcUgU9IK8?t=3917
"One does not choose to be chosen—it is a calling bestowed, not earned. Grace is not seized by merit, nor is mercy summoned by will. So it was with Clavius, the Roman Tribune: a hardened unbeliever, yet by divine design, he beheld the Risen One—and believed."
"You don't choose to be the chosen one—you're chosen. Mercy and grace aren't earned or selected; they're given. Clavius (Joseph Fiennes), a powerful Roman Military Tribune and non-believer, didn’t seek Jesus—but was transformed into a follower when he encountered the risen Christ."

The name Yahweh, the personal name of God in the Hebrew Bible, is often understood to mean "He is" or "I will be". This interpretation is linked to the Hebrew verb "to be" (hayah). In the story of Moses and the burning bush, God reveals his name to Moses as I am (ehyeh), which is then translated into Yahweh.
If you believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and was raised to life on the third day, you will be saved. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 ?

Could you please explain why this film is associated with a famous actor and director? <>
The film "Risen" (2016) stars Joseph Fiennes, a well-known British actor acclaimed for his role in Shakespeare in Love and later in The Handmaid's Tale. His involvement in Risen lends credibility and gravitas to the film, aligning with its serious and spiritual themes.
The film stands out because:
-
Perspective Shift: It uniquely tells the Resurrection story through the eyes of a Roman skeptic, Clavius, rather than from the apostles' or believers' viewpoints. This narrative approach helps modern secular or questioning audiences relate more directly, inviting them to investigate the story rather than be preached to.
-
Star Power: Casting Fiennes as the lead — a commanding Roman officer unraveling what he believes is a political mystery — brings depth to the role, reflecting internal conflict, doubt, and eventual transformation. His performance is subtle and credible, which makes the spiritual journey more human.
-
Directed by Kevin Reynolds, known for The Count of Monte Cristo and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, the film combines drama, suspense, and historical storytelling, creating a cinematic experience that appeals beyond just religious audiences.
Ultimately, Risen was made to explore faith, doubt, and truth in a way that respects both the believer and the skeptic — and casting a serious actor like Fiennes signals that intent clearly.

I remember seeing the trailer as a nonbeliever (Catholic living my life as I please) and not wanting to watch it when I found out it was about Jesus. Life went on and it was until I had no reason to live that I asked any God to reveal itself, and lo and behold, Jesus came to my bedroom and removed the burden off my shoulders. After that, I saw many signs, miracles, and wonders, many of which are in the Bible too many for my logical mind to understand. The Bible came alive, and I understood it for the first time. This movie hits different when you know it is based on a true story, not something hypothetical.
Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice," and my life is a testament to how real Jesus is and how he fulfilled every prophecy, including bringing the dead to life, which was me before I knew him.
If you ask Jesus to reveal himself with an honest heart, I truly believe he will do it for you like he has for me and millions of others who dared to ask and really seek Him.
