An inspirational true story - "stupid", disadvantaged kid becomes a famous, pioneering neurosurgeon - rags to riches. Amazing surgery on the Siamese twins! Great acting (when does Cuba Gooding, Jr. ever disappoint?). Excellent, heart-warming movie.
He operated on Ashley's brain to save her life. She was 3.5 months early 1.5 lbs at birth and developed a major bleed in her brain. Without it she wouldn't have made it.
