y not bad, not bad, I personally like Waikiki beach a lot, very beautiful at night, a lot of street performance you can enjoy. Wind surfing is very popular there, if you don't dare to go to the sea yourself, at least you can sit along the beach watching those brave surfers playing with sea.
On the contrary to the opinions of the friend upstairs, I think Polynesian culture center is nothing more than ordinary. If you'd ever been to the Culture center in Kunming, YuNan, this one would really disappoint you. And one thing really important is that if you can, buy the cheapest entrance package possible. (I spent about $350/two person on entrance, totally not worth it.)
2-3 days should be enough to spend on Oahu, and if you have extra time, take a circle-island tour. Those native tour guides are very interesting.
