Flight fr LV to Grand Canyon

Hi, there,

I am planning to go to Las Vegas this september and one-day-trip to the famous grand canyon. In order to save time, I want to flight there from LV. There are lots of website providing info of the flight package. one of them includes the flight to the southern rim, the air tour over the Hoover dame and lake mead, bus tour to several sight spots and lunch. The cost is around $200.00 per person.

Do you think it is worth it to see the canyon in this way?

What's the difference between southern rim and northern rim? The package to the northern rim is much cheaper, and the plane will land you on the bottom of the canyon.
